What I Learned on Tik Tok Today - Part One

 I have decided to make this an ongoing series.  This is my contribution to help everyone know all these shortcuts, life hacks and other general mind blowing information that I have discovered while becoming every so slightly addicted to this awesome platform.

So today, as I am eating my lunch and scrolling through TikTok, I come across this lovely lady who share tech tips that she has learned from the 8 year olds that she teaches.  This intrigues me because as you know I was a technology and learning coach for 4 years.  I LOVE to learn new tricks and shortcuts!

So these two are about YouTube and very simple things you can add to the youtube url to make them easier to use and share with others.  I also love YouTube and it has helped me with so many projects around my house.  The first time I used it was to figure out how to unjam my garbage disposal.  Saved me at least $75 for a service call!

Oh How I Love a Good Quote!

 

 

I have always loved a good quote and have them written all over my planner and other notebooks. I was really happy when I heard about this book by Hoda Kotb.  I would say that it's a cross between a daily devotional and book of quotes.  Some of them have background stories.  I love that it's a quick read and I love to share them with people when I think they would like them and they might apply to something that they are going through.

Then there's my not quite so high brow/serious side....

I do love a sarcastic meme/quote - especially when it comes to the work environment.  I have a Pinterest board packed full of my favorites.  Sometimes they are just the perfect way to sum up how you feel about a situation.
