Jesus Take the Wheel...and some scenic photos!

Jesus has arrived at my house!  He came in the mail earlier this week.  This Jesus mini-figure was sent to me by a dear friend who is the principal of a catholic school in the Charleston area.  She had told me about how they sent these mini-figs home with their students for the summer and they email in photos.  So of course I had to have one too!
I've always been a big fan of these types of projects.  I was the person you wanted to send your Flat Stanley to in 2nd/3rd grade!  When my nephew sent me his, I was able to get a photo of Stanley on the flighline near a fighter jet, along with a lot of other creative shots.  Then I turned it into a book to send back to his class.  Yes, I've always been extra!

Our son and his lovely wife visited recently and he showed my husband a very scenic viewpoint that is only about 30 minutes from where we live.  The hubs thought it would be a great place to watch the sunrise from. Of course we would drive their in his Jeep with the top off.
While my hair did NOT enjoy the trip (think wild bush), the rest of me loved the trip and the cooler temps.  It was a balmy 69 degrees up the mountain.  The lake you see in the photos is Lake Jocassee.

Jesus' first photo op was a go!  The funny thing is my sweet husband rolls his eyes when I tell him about this project, but once we get there who's setting up and suggesting shots?!?!   I love that he goes along and gets involved in most of my crazy schemes!

Here are the photos that I sent to the school...

I couldn't resist taking a photo of Jesus with his flock....of ducks on the dashboard!

Of course, my hubs loves taking "beauty shots" of his Jeep, here he is in action.

I'm really looking forward to taking making more photos of my Jesus mini-fig in lots of interesting places. I've already started a list of ideas on my phone.  First Clemson home game is only 41 days away!

Toodles until next time....
