Tea for Day Two and Roll Humps!

Timehop has been bringing back a lot of great Christmas memories for me lately.  This was the tree that I decorated the December that MacKenzie graduated from Campbell University.  It's hard to believe that was already 6 years ago!  I decorated this tree with a Clemson theme the year that Tyler graduated (9 years ago!) and those decorations were a little easier to find.

Luckily, Campbell's school colors are orange and black.  I was able to score a bunch of decorations from Michael's on clearance after Halloween.  MacKenzie already had the stuffed camel; a gift from her future husband.

The Campbell University mascot is the camel.  Hence the "Roll Humps" in the title. I found the camel ornament at JoAnn's and I bought the Campbell snowman at the school bookstore.

I was estatic when I found the camel wrapping paper, talk about the perfect way to carry the theme to the bottom of the tree.  Actually, I think I still have some of that wrapping paper....

Now onto to today's teas.  This morning I chose the Anise Cookie tea.  I was looking forward to this one.  Anise has a licorice flavor and I love licorice!  Also, yesterday's tea from this calendar was so good, I went in with high hopes.
What.a.complete.disappointment.
I made sure to let it steep for long enough and I didn't add very much milk.  It had so little taste!  It took blah to whole new level.  I barely got a whiff of licorice in each swallow.
So this tea gets the following rating:

Yes, I had to go back and create a half mug!

My afternoon tea was called "Deine Auszeit" which according to Google translate means "your time out"
It has apple, hibiscus and currant flavors.  After yesterday’s dismal flavor, I wasn’t sure what to expect. This tea did have more taste with the currant flavor being the strongest. Definitely an improvement from the previous day. However, there was a rather strong earthy aftertaste that I didn’t like.
So this tea gets a rating of

Toodles until tomorrow.
