For my sipping pleasure on this first day of advent we have a Wintertee Pumpkin Spice and a Manuka Honey Chamomile. I also decided this morning that I needed a ranking system to rate each of these teas. So of course, that meant a quick trip over to Canva to create some graphics. Here's what I came up with:
One teacup is lowest rating with five teacups being the highest rating.
I started the day with the Wintertee Pumpkin Spice, I find it funny that they start the calendar with this. Christmas for us mean pumpkin spice season is over. I'm quite a fan of pumpkin flavored tea and had high hopes for this tea. Welp, I was very disappointed. This tea really didn't have much taste at all! I know that European countries have much stricter rules about artficial flavorings but this tea was definitely missing the pumpkin flavor.
I had a pretty nasty sinus headache this afternoon and a cup of tea helps me feel better. So it was time for the Manuka Honey Chamomile tea to step up and see what it could do. I could smell the honey in this tea the minute the hot water hit the teabag. I have to say that this tea hit the spot. It had a rich flavor and wasn't too sweet. I would definitely buy these teabags if they were sold separately.
It gets a rating of
Talking about advent calendars, these photos popped up on my Timehop app this morning.
I made this advent calendar for MacKenzie when she was in college. I found the cut file for free online and thought a cake was a unique idea for an advent calendar. The most challenging part of this calendar was finding items small enough fit in each slice. Keurig pods were perfect! Luckily she's a coffee lover and had a Keurig coffee maker. Yes, that's a shower poof on the top!
Toodle until next time...
