It's almost advent calendar time!! So what's better than one advent calendar... how about two? I have loved advent calendars since I was a little girl. My mum always bought my brother and I a chocolate calendar to countdown to the holiday season.
I also remember the year we had an advent candle. My brother and I were supposed to take turns burning it the marked amount each day. Of course, when it was my turn I completely forgot about it (hello, ADD) and it burned down for several days. Ooops, lost that job!
I love that advent calendars have grown in popularity over the past several years. They have a huge selection at World Market. While the Lindt chocolate one was highly tempting, I decided to go with something I use/need on a daily basis.
I am a big tea drinker - milk, no sugar, please. I start each day with a big cup of tea. I found the smaller calendar on the left last year when we were in Germany for the holidays. I'll need to use Google translate to know what I'm trying each day. I found the other calendar at Aldi, on the isle of shame (my favorite part of the store)
So I thought it would be fun to post each day about the teas I get to try. I'm embarrased to go back and see that I haven't blogged since July! Got out of the habit and thought this would be a great way to get back on the blogging bandwagon.

I love advent calendars! We gave the kids Playmobil advent calendars this year as a nod to their growing-up years in Germany. Cassandra gave me a kitchen-themed one from Germany. Fun times! I too am trying to get back into blogging! I love writing, and I always enjoy reading YOUR writing!
